Sustainability
Passionate in supporting the integrity of our untouched region, we continuously focus on our own sustainable methods whilst supporting local partners by opening year-round and helping the destination benefit both locals and visitors.
Locally Sourced
Wherever possible, we purchase products that are organic, in season and locally sourced. We have fostered great relationships with local independent owners – whether it’s bread, artisanal gelato, fruits, vegetables, meats or fish – we buy our direct from the locals. We partner with the best producers and experiences in Le Marche – from wine, cheese, truffle, olive oil to local pasta makers – we can continue to keep these traditional methods alive, and help support their income at the same time.
Drinking Water
We have invested in filtered water throughout the Estate so guests can drink with no need to perpetuate the use of plastic bottled water.
Rain Water
All rainwater is collected into our 8 water wells and underground reservoir. This is reused for to keep our Estate garden green & fresh. .
Solar panels
We have invested in solar panels to help reduce our carbon footprint. These help heat the hot water system on our Estate.
Heat Exchanger
Our heated pool functions through a heat exchanger, which uses the outdoor air to reduce the consumption of power.
Recycling
We recycle all plant waste where possible in order to re-purpose this back into the land as mulch.
Olive Oil
We produce our own olive oil each year from the harvest of our 400 olive trees. Some of our trees go back over 100 years old.
Organic Fruit & Vegetables
Our commitment to sourcing food as locally as possible starts with our own grown organic fruit and vegetables. Each year we grow apricots, plums, lemons, lime, peaches, apples, pears, grapes and wait until you see our huge fig tree. Our purpose built vegetable garden fosters the following each year: rocket, spinach, salads, cherry tomatoes, large tomatoes, artichokes, green beans, onions, herbs, asparagus, aubergine, courgettes among other items.

5 months agoOliveto estate is a TRUE retreat and sanctuary for an immersive Italian experience. Away from tourist traps and distractions, it’s the perfect venue for retreat hosts looking to hold space for an intentional purpose. It’s hard to describe exactly but imagine yourself owning a luxury home with a backyard view of Tuscan hills WITH the sea behind it PLUS 5 star hotel service fully equipped with everything you’d want/need to host a one of a kind experience centered around wellness and connection. Most places have either one or the other, but not here - you get it all. Breath taking views aside, I was most blown away by how well prepared and organized the venue was to cater to all the needs of our group. From a private chef that was always nourishing our bodies (and let’s be honest - minds and spirits too!) to Amanda and Francesca who were just a text away, it was support I’d never experienced with a retreat venue (and I’ve run quite a few!) OR even your most luxurious hotels! They really make you feel like you’re a part of the family and that they care about you and your group. I couldn’t recommend it more for hosts and groups looking to deliver and receive the most premier of premium experiences.

9 months agoOliveto Estate was an amazing experience and we escaped the ordinary. All our guests appreciated the amazing and luxury villa, some pool time and food created by the wonderful chefs. For yoga retreats the shala is just wonderful. Everything was just perfect and we will all keep these wonderful memories in our hearts.

5 months agoI’ve been here as a retreat guest and loved it so much I came back and rented it as a villa with friends. Without doubt the most exceptional place I’ve stayed in Italy. Amazing food, location, services, attention to detail and tailored service. Totally love it here and will be back for sure :)

3 months agoI was already recommending Oliveto Estate before we had even arrived on site due to the high level of support and professionalism from the team. Amanda and Francesca offer high class production assistance - patience, true care and I could feel their deep desire to bring all of my retreat dreams to life. The Villa itself is impeccable. The space is pure magic and served as the perfect portal for my retreaters to dive deep within themselves due to the luxurious comfort of the high end facilities, the DELICIOUS food prepared by the loving chefs (who received a standing ovation on the last night) and the transcendent silence of the surrounding environment. The views, the Villa design, the ground staff - all of it is unmatched. Highly. highly recommend. Thank you for making this retreat so special, Oliveto Estate!

6 months agoWhere to begin for leaving a review of one of the most beautiful places in Italy? I could start with the view, oh the stunning bella vista that commands your full attention. Where in the late morning, planted just below the yoga studio, the wispy olive trees whisper “look at me!” To which the sparkling blue Adriatic just beyond them whispers back, a bit louder, “no look at me!” All while the bold morning sun, lazily works it’s way up from the horizon, illuminating the sky and sea in every shade of orange and red whispers the loudest…”no, look at me!” Or perhaps I should mention first, Oliveto itself, with it’s 5 star lodging, amenities, pools and sacred peaceful yoga studio with it’s ethereal view and top of the line props for all styles of yoga. The attention to detail throughout the estate - from the bean bag pool floats to ice machines and sparkling tap water everywhere you would need it, to the little places notched out providing space amongst the stunning gardens to be still, to the community spaces to share an aperitivo - all showing the care and thoughtfulness that has gone in to making Oliveto a luxurious Italian getaway. And if you are lucky enough to be there when the star jasmine is in bloom -the intoxicating star jasmine that infiltrates the air all throughout the estate- then my friends, you are lucky enough. Or perhaps I should first mention the staff; Francesca who helped coordinate all our activities, Antonella who among many other things ensured that the towels were fresh, the bathrooms were stocked and the pools were sparkling; and the incredible kitchen staff who worked tirelessly to ensure our bellies were full of the most delicious, nutritious Italian food, all made on site with love from Barbara and Christina. If I could share with you a piece of the bespoke cinnamon cappuccino birthday cake they made for one of our guests (whom they noticed every day made cinnamon cappucinos for herself) well, then I’d be your best friend. And I would be remiss to not mention Amanda, the brilliant woman behind all the magic who was so easy to work with - her expertise and organization made booking a retreat at Oliveto seamless. Or perhaps, instead of spilling all the details here, where I am limited to words and unable to share incredible foods, delicious scents and beautiful sounds, you could just book Oliveto and discover the magic for yourself. I can assure you, you won’t be disappointed.
