Looking for connection and compassion? Come host your next retreat, holiday or spiritual event at Ater Tumti.

Our beautiful 15 hectares (37 acres) on the slopes of Mount Etna offer olive groves, forest, and traditional drywall terraces for a kind of peace unlike any other. The retreat center consists of villas, apartments, tiny houses, and a dedicated yoga shala, with a dining room, separate kitchen, swimming pool, and multiple jacuzzis.

Take a stroll through the olive groves, dip in the swimming pool, or enjoy nature while looking at the sea. Share a meal under the warm Sicilian sun after a session in the yoga shala. Sip our local wine ‘Terre di Trente’ during lunch or at sunset. Meditate in silence, or together holding hands in a loving circle. Breathe.

Filip and Trente are here to welcome you.

A getaway. Sicilian style.

Of course, we get you. You want to provide your retreat participants with a unique experience. Without the worry. You just need to find the right spot, right?

We love to provide you with the necessary amenities to cater to your way of hosting. Why? Because we want your event to be the powerful journey it’s meant to be.

We’re experienced in yoga (from ashtanga to kundalini, you name it), sound baths, breathwork, QiGong, meditation (solo and groups), tantra retreats, ecstatic dance, women’s and men’s circles, spiritual awakenings and more. And if we don’t know: we’d love to participate! Will you teach us something new?

Connect with yoga

Our Yoga Shala is the perfect place to stretch, bend and twist… or to wind down in Shavasana. We’ve got natural sunlight coming in through the windows all day and enough yoga mats to accommodate your group. Just don’t forget to breathe!

Thank you Trente and Filip. Ater Tumti is an extraordinary, charming and beautiful place, tucked in between Mt Aetna and the Mediterranean. The scenery is unbelievably beautiful - sunrises, the Italian coast in the distance, the crystal clear waters, the volcano, and the picturesque fruit and olive trees make for a truly special, relaxing, and invigorating environment. The food is delicious, and the wine from their vineyard, Terre de Trente, is something the heart desires. I can genuinely say it is the best wine I have ever tasted. What makes the experience even more special are fantastic hosts Filip and Trente, their incredible staff (Salvo and Sara), and the wonderful volunteers, all of whom are warm and gracious, making you feel like part of the family. There are a number of special places to visit, and you will always find warm Italian people to welcome you and make you feel at home. I visited Ater Tumti in 2021 for a 2 week retreat, one of the best experiences of my life, and returned this year on vacation. And finally, in the evenings, a tasty pasta dish, a glass of Terre de Trente wine, and great hosts really put the exclamation mark on the day. Looking forward to the next visit.

This was an amazing and tranquil retreat location. The 37 acres allows for meditative reflection where the meeting rooms, cafeteria, and lodging provides simple comfort within a Sicilian landscape. The views of both the ocean and Mount Etna are breathtaking. The owners are kind, welcoming, and pleasant. I highly recommend this venue whether for a group retreat or personal respite.

I had the pleasure of meeting Filip in 2017 as a participant of NAKED The Retreat. At the time he introduced me to his wife Trente and they shared their greater vision which has now been named, Ater Tumti, Heaven on Earth. When they shared they are ready to host retreats onto their magnificent land, it felt divinely designed to host ‘NAKED’ a 10 day retreat during the relaunch in 2023. And straight after a 7 day NAKED community gathering. When you hear their sweet, loving, courageous story of how Ater Tumti came into being, and continues to form, I can only bow in respect to the dedication, energy, time, money, sweat, blood and tears (I am sure) has been invested into this great vision. Acknowledging all the volunteers, builders, architects that are making it possible. I hope many more beings get to taste a little heaven on earth. And don’t let that lead you there with high expectations, because the land will teach you uniquely and humbly what is required from you, to create heaven on earth. We are all participating if we choose to. Spaces like these are for me the way humanity can evolve and explore what is required to birth and live the more beautiful world our hearts know is possible. I extend my gratitude for the wonderful guided tour to Mt Etna and other places we explored, and all the little things (which are the big things) that contributed to our group experience being one that shall stay in our hearts 💛 Inlakech Ala Kin

The sunsets here are breathtaking, the accommodations, shala, swimming pool, nearby Etna is truly an invitation to unwind, relax and also have fun! Trente and Filipe are the most exquisite hosts ever and remember to get a copy of Trent’s incredible book “Cageless”. Can’t wait to return to this paradise!!!

I had the honor to be a guest at Ater Tumti more then once, and it has grown to me to be a place where I feel at home while away from home. Wether for a yoga retreat, conscious relating, a mind blowing experience on the Etna of from Trentes cooking, it’s a place where it all comes together if you want to get away from the delusion of your daily hassle.

    Ater Tumti

During a seven-day retreat in complete darkness, owner Filip had a vision of building a retreat center. After sharing his newfound direction with Trente, they sought out the foothills of the Etna. With volunteers and friends, they erected a yoga shala and expanded to an adjacent property. With gratitude and joy, they dubbed the center ‘Ater Tumti’.

In its original language, Ater Tumti means ‘Heaven on Earth. This phrase was born in Atlántidian times, over 13 000 years ago. Its goal was to bring Heaven to Earth; that is, by using consciousness and human social development to channel the light from the universe through photosynthesis (as plants do) and use that light to divinize matter, the world, and ourselves. Taking advantage of inner and outer technology in and through ourselves, we cultivate the evolution of All-That-Is.
