Overview

Welcome to our springtime sanctuary, an exclusive women-only yoga retreat nestled in the picturesque landscapes of Ischia. Just as the world awakens to the vibrant colors of spring, so too shall we embrace the essence of this season within our shared practice.

Our body-home, like the flowing streams of spring, is mostly made of water. During this retreat, we will delve deeply into exploring the beauty of fluidity in the way we connect with ourselves and the world around us. Just as nature blooms with grace and softness, we will learn to embody these qualities in our yoga asanas, allowing them to gently permeate into our daily lives.

As we gracefully move through our practice, we will experience a profound shift from fragmentation to harmony, feeling the subtle currents of fluidity guiding us back into our wholeness. Like the blossoms on the trees, we will interact with life from a place of softness, integrity, and grace, embracing the transformative power of spring in all its splendor.

Join us in this sacred space as we cultivate the art of moving with the rhythm of nature, celebrating the rejuvenating spirit of spring and the nurturing power of sisterhood. This retreat is exclusively tailored for women, offering a supportive and empowering environment where we can delve deeper into our practice and emerge as radiant beings, ready to embrace the world with renewed energy and a harmonious spirit.

Relax in a little thermal water paradise

Our retreat is set in a farmhouse situated in S. Angelo a small quiet picturesque fishing village, just above the “Fumarole” beach, on the Maronti Bay where hot thermal vapours rise from the underground, creating a very special natural phenomenon. This little oasis of peace by the sea is the perfect setting for your yoga escape in southern Italy for a week full of charm and atmosphere.

The morning and evening yoga classes will be held either on the outdoor platform overlooking the thermal pool, beach and island of Capri, or in the spacious and comfortable “Sala di yoga” just next door. It is a truly magical experience to re-connect with yourself on your yoga mat while simultaneously connecting to such an Idyllic landscape.
You’ll be staying just a 5 minutes costal path from the most beautiful 3 km long beach on the island, the Maronti . And you will be at only 10 min walk from the pastel coloured village S. Angelo overlooking the bay, this stunning little place is truly romantic with a lot to offer the intrepid traveller: cafés, restaurants, exhibitions, and shops – all within the historical centre that can only be accessed by foot as the entire village is traffic-free, making it a tranquil place to explore.

This is a perfect yoga retreat to breathe fresh Mediterranean air, re-centering, rejuvenating and detox in the sauna, steam bath and thermal pools, with plenty of Yoga, Chi gong and meditation that will just add on to your relaxation. You will enjoy peaceful soothing surroundings to recharge your inner batteries while letting yourself be inspired by the nature all around.

As a wanderer of both Earth and the mystical realms, tracing my origins has been as richly intricate as my dual heritage—half German, half Moroccan. Raised by a Bohemian mother, living in various countries, I often respond to the question of where I come from with, "I am a citizen of the world."

Transitioning from an artist to a yogi unfolded during my teenage years on the Côte d'Azur. Bathed in Mediterranean light, my dream of becoming a full-time artist emerged. However, the discovery of yoga at 19 marked a transformative shift, propelling me towards a deeper exploration of the body and a spiritual quest to India.

Living in ashrams, studying massage, Ayurveda, and Indian classical dance, I eventually faced back pain. Seeking healing, I ventured into Iyengar yoga teacher training in 2005, establishing a disciplined yogic life. For 4 years I was co-running a Yoga School in India and evolving my practice, I questioned dogmas and explored Scaravelli-inspired and intuitive yoga.
Leaving India after almost seven years, I led retreats in Morocco and Europe and delved into various yoga styles and Qi gong. Evolving from a focus on strength and flexibility, my path shifted towards Somatic movements, particularly influenced by Hanna Thomas.

Understanding the body's score of past traumas, I found relief in somatic practices, reshaping my approach to yoga. Prioritizing feeling, self-regulation, and creating a fertile ground for self-healing, I dropped deeper into embodiment, embracing the feminine principle of moving in a more pleasurable and wholesome way.

At 40, motherhood shifted my perspective on spiritual practice. Embodying the feminine at a profound level, my focus turned to presence and connection within my family. Post-pregnancy, I embraced the moon's guidance, finding healing in syncing with natural cycles.

Today, I organize retreats globally, offering online classes that share a somatic approach to yoga, fostering reconnection and deeper embodiment.
