Denise and Teresa are incredibly committed, kind, knowledgeable holistic wellness guides. I spent three weeks with them in April and felt the impact the very first day I arrived. Dragonfly Awakenings is committed fully to the wellness of others. During my time there, I support the centre in gardening and weeding their incredible (and growing) gardens. Teresa and Denise both are amazing story tellers, intuitive hosts, and wise wise wise. Attending a retreat at Dragonfly Awakenings was an incredibly powerful, therapeutic, and beautiful experience. I felt truly cared for by Denise and Theresa, whose warmth, knowledge, and nurturing presence were such an important part of my journey. The property itself is stunning and peaceful, offering the perfect environment for healing and self-discovery. It overlooks the Arenal Volcano, whose majestic presence felt like an additional guest, quietly supporting and witnessing the work we were doing. The bunk-style accommodations added their own kind of magic, creating a strong sense of community and connection among the guests. I especially loved spending time swimming in the river and exploring the land — both experiences were deeply grounding and restorative. I would wholeheartedly recommend a retreat at Dragonfly Awakenings to anyone seeking a transformative and supportive experience.
