Casa Prima is an exclusive eco-retreat in western Cuba that combines rustic charm with modern comfort. Surrounded by tropical gardens and a freshwater lake, the guest house offers a sustainable break thanks to solar energy. Whether it’s outdoor yoga, walks through nature or refreshment by the lake – Casa Prima is the ideal place for retreats or a relaxing break. A place where sustainability and Cuban hospitality come together in harmony.

We offer comfortable and spacious rooms with a rustic yet sophisticated feel. Each room measures 25m² (269 sf) and is equipped with two twin beds (90 x 200 cm / 35.4 x 78.7 in), which can be pushed together to form a double bed upon request. Two of the rooms are wheelchair accessible.

In addition to yoga and stand-up paddleboarding, we offer outdoor adventures such as trail running, hiking, horseback riding, and bird watching.

Casa Prima is located in the west of Cuba, in the province of Pinar del Rio, about 40 minutes outside the picturesque Viñales and 5 minutes from the fishing village of Puerto Esperanza, in the municipality of El Rosario.

We stayed 3 nights in Casa Prima with Andrea and Luca. With this house in the tropical garden and the beautiful rooms, you have created a little paradise. The food was great and we felt very comfortable and enjoyed the peace and quiet. The horseback ride into the hills was also a great experience. Casa Prima is also very suitable for a day trip to the island of Cayo Levisa with a wonderful beach or to Viñales.

Our stay at Eco Casa Prima was unforgettable! From the first minute we felt welcome and comfortable. The accommodation is surrounded by beautiful nature, perfect for switching off and enjoying. We really appreciated the peace, the fresh air and the sustainable lifestyle here. We were particularly impressed by the warmth of the hosts, who not only looked after our well-being, but also gave us exciting insights into the local culture. The proximity to Viñales and Puerto Esperanza made it easy to take trips and explore the surrounding area. For couples looking for nature, peace and authentic experiences, we can highly recommend Eco Casa Prima! We'll definitely come back.

From the first second we felt welcome: Andrea and Luca welcomed my two colleagues and me with open arms and pampered us completely. Every day they conjure up delicious dishes using fresh ingredients from their own garden - a real feast for the senses! Our hosts also ensured a varied time with great activities: relaxed yoga in the morning, fascinating bird watching, an exciting tour of a cigar factory and unforgettable hikes through the breathtaking nature. Not only was the accommodation cozy and spotlessly clean, but it was also a place where we immediately felt at home. We all enjoyed our stay incredibly much - so much so that we would have liked to stay longer! A big thank you for this wonderful experience. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Beautiful accommodation, great food and a fantastic ambience. We were treated very warmly throughout our stay and were able to enjoy the hospitality of Andrea and Luca. It was my birthday there too and I got a very special dinner . Thank you 🤩 for that.
