Casa Prima is an exclusive eco-retreat in western Cuba that combines rustic charm with modern comfort. Surrounded by tropical gardens and a freshwater lake, the guest house offers a sustainable break thanks to solar energy. Whether it’s outdoor yoga, walks through nature or refreshment by the lake – Casa Prima is the ideal place for retreats or a relaxing break. A place where sustainability and Cuban hospitality come together in harmony.
We offer comfortable and spacious rooms with a rustic yet sophisticated feel. Each room measures 25m² (269 sf) and is equipped with two twin beds (90 x 200 cm / 35.4 x 78.7 in), which can be pushed together to form a double bed upon request. Two of the rooms are wheelchair accessible.
In addition to yoga and stand-up paddleboarding, we offer outdoor adventures such as trail running, hiking, horseback riding, and bird watching.
Casa Prima is located in the west of Cuba, in the province of Pinar del Rio, about 40 minutes outside the picturesque Viñales and 5 minutes from the fishing village of Puerto Esperanza, in the municipality of El Rosario.

4 months agoWir waren 3 Nächte in der Casa Prima bei Andrea und Luca. Sie haben mit diesem Haus im tropischen Garten und den schönen Zimmern, ein kleines Paradies geschaffen. Das Essen war super und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Ruhe genossen. Der Reitausflug in die Hügel war auch ein tolles Erlebnis. Casa Prima eignet sich auch sehr gut für einen Tagesausflug auf die Insel Cayo Levisa mit einem wunderbaren Strand oder nach Viñales.

4 months agoOur stay at Eco Casa Prima was unforgettable! From the first minute we felt welcome and comfortable. The accommodation is surrounded by beautiful nature, perfect for switching off and enjoying. We really appreciated the peace, the fresh air and the sustainable lifestyle here. We were particularly impressed by the warmth of the hosts, who not only looked after our well-being, but also gave us exciting insights into the local culture. The proximity to Viñales and Puerto Esperanza made it easy to take trips and explore the surrounding area. For couples looking for nature, peace and authentic experiences, we can highly recommend Eco Casa Prima! We'll definitely come back.

3 months agoVon der ersten Sekunde an fühlten wir uns willkommen: Andrea und Luca empfingen meine zwei Kollegen und mich mit offenen Armen und verwöhnten uns rundum. Jeden Tag zauberten sie köstliche Gerichte aus frischen Zutaten ihres eigenen Gartens – ein echtes Fest für die Sinne! Unsere Gastgeber sorgten zudem für eine abwechslungsreiche Zeit mit tollen Aktivitäten: entspanntes Yoga am Morgen, faszinierende Vogelbeobachtungen, eine spannende Führung durch eine Zigarrenfabrik und unvergessliche Wanderungen durch die atemberaubende Natur. Die Unterkunft war nicht nur gemütlich und makellos sauber, sondern auch ein Ort, an dem wir uns sofort wie zu Hause fühlten. Uns allen hat der Aufenthalt unglaublich gut gefallen – so sehr, dass wir am liebsten noch länger geblieben wären! Ein herzliches Dankeschön für dieses wunderbare Erlebnis. Ich kann es jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen!
