Looking for connection and compassion? Come host your next retreat, holiday or spiritual event at Ater Tumti.

Our beautiful 15 hectares (37 acres) on the slopes of Mount Etna offer olive groves, forest, and traditional drywall terraces for a kind of peace unlike any other. The retreat center consists of villas, apartments, tiny houses, and a dedicated yoga shala, with a dining room, separate kitchen, swimming pool, and multiple jacuzzis.

Take a stroll through the olive groves, dip in the swimming pool, or enjoy nature while looking at the sea. Share a meal under the warm Sicilian sun after a session in the yoga shala. Sip our local wine ‘Terre di Trente’ during lunch or at sunset. Meditate in silence, or together holding hands in a loving circle. Breathe.

Filip and Trente are here to welcome you.

A getaway. Sicilian style.

Of course, we get you. You want to provide your retreat participants with a unique experience. Without the worry. You just need to find the right spot, right?

We love to provide you with the necessary amenities to cater to your way of hosting. Why? Because we want your event to be the powerful journey it’s meant to be.

We’re experienced in yoga (from ashtanga to kundalini, you name it), sound baths, breathwork, QiGong, meditation (solo and groups), tantra retreats, ecstatic dance, women’s and men’s circles, spiritual awakenings and more. And if we don’t know: we’d love to participate! Will you teach us something new?

Connect with yoga

Our Yoga Shala is the perfect place to stretch, bend and twist… or to wind down in Shavasana. We’ve got natural sunlight coming in through the windows all day and enough yoga mats to accommodate your group. Just don’t forget to breathe!

During a seven-day retreat in complete darkness, owner Filip had a vision of building a retreat center. After sharing his newfound direction with Trente, they sought out the foothills of the Etna. With volunteers and friends, they erected a yoga shala and expanded to an adjacent property. With gratitude and joy, they dubbed the center ‘Ater Tumti’.

In its original language, Ater Tumti means ‘Heaven on Earth. This phrase was born in Atlántidian times, over 13 000 years ago. Its goal was to bring Heaven to Earth; that is, by using consciousness and human social development to channel the light from the universe through photosynthesis (as plants do) and use that light to divinize matter, the world, and ourselves. Taking advantage of inner and outer technology in and through ourselves, we cultivate the evolution of All-That-Is.
