Retreat seekers If you are booking a retreat
Choose a retreat, select the option you want, then click on reserve. The host will respond to your reservation within 72 hours. Once they approve your booking, you can go ahead and pay the deposit with credit card through our platform to secure your spot. If this is an instant booking, you won’t need to wait for the host’s approval and will be able to pay for the deposit right away.
The deposit amount can range from 10%-75% as specified by the host in the listing. The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the host as arranged by them.
There is a 72 hour free cancellation grace period after the deposit payment where you can cancel and receive a full refund, unless the event is less than 72 hours from the time of deposit payment. Please refer to the cancellation policy on the retreat listing for rules on deposit terms, payment deadlines and refunds.
Omtrips does not charge any service fees to you as the traveller. Our default currency is USD. (We plan to offer other currencies in the future. You can always pay with credit card via Paypal to use their currency conversion for payment.) It is our goal to keep booking fees as low as possible and any fees to be transparent, so we can keep our lowest price guarantee.
Yes, it is highly advised that you purchase your own travel insurance which will cover for any cancellations and non-refundable payments that may incur, as well as unforeseen disasters, accidents, illnesses, injuries or theft. We are not able to process refunds once the deposit has entered the non-refundable period as stated on the cancellation policy of the retreat listing.
Retreat hosts If you are hosting a retreat
Anyone qualified with at least 3 years of experience in providing wellness experiences to customers can join Omtrips to list a retreat. Simply sign up for an account as a Provider and continue to add a listing.
To list a retreat, simply click on the “Add Listing” button. Once you have completed all the details and submitted your first listing, it will go through our approval process. Your first listing will take longer to get approved as we go through a verification process to guarantee the standard of our hosts, and we may need to contact you for more information. However, after the first listing has been approved, your following listings will be approved and live on the site within 24 hours.
Omtrips collects a 5% commission fee on the total booking price or the non-refundable deposit (if canceled), when travelers book and make the deposit payment through our secure booking system. Payouts to the host will be made on the first Monday following the retreat start date. with a choice of using Wise, Paypal or bank transfer. Any customer credit card surcharges (normally 3%) and Wise/Paypal/bank processing fees will be deducted from the payout. The remaining balance of the retreat is paid by the traveler directly to you (the host) according to your arrangements.
Omtrips is only responsible for refunds of deposits during the period where it is still refundable according to the cancellation policy set by you (the host) on the retreat listing. You are responsible for any refunds on payments that are made directly by the traveler to you (outside of our payment system.) You must notify Omtrips as soon as a traveler cancels their booking.
