Cancellation policy

The cancellation policy is shown on each listing as set by the listing owner (provider for the retreat) which can be one of the following:

  • Non-refundable
  • Strict
    • 100% deposit refund if canceled 90+ days before the start date.
    • 50% deposit refund if canceled 60-89 days before the start date.
    • 0% deposit refund if canceled less than 60 days before the start date.
  • Moderate
    • 100% deposit refund if canceled 75+ days before the start date.
    • 50% deposit refund if canceled 45-74 days before the start date.
    • 0% deposit refund if canceled less than 45 days before the start date.
  • Flexible
    • 100% deposit refund if canceled 60+ days before the start date.
    • 50% deposit refund if canceled 30-59 days before the start date.
    • 0% deposit refund if canceled less than 30 days before the start date.
  • Loose
    • 100% deposit refund if canceled 30+ days before the start date.
    • 50% deposit refund if canceled 15-29 days before the start date.
    • 0% deposit refund if canceled less than 15 days before the start date.

Omtrips is only responsible for deposits processed through our payment platform and will only refund the deposit amount as enforced in the cancellation policy periods for the booking. The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the listing owner as arranged by them.

If you booked your retreat through our booking system and need to cancel, please notify us via email at namaste@omtrips.co and the listing owner immediately.

Cancellation grace period

We provide the guests with a 72 hour grace period to cancel their booking unless the event is starting less than 72 hours from the booking time. If a guest asks to cancel their booking within this grace period they will receive a full refund of their deposit or amount paid.

After the 72 hour grace period, the cancellation policy, set by the listing owner will go into full effect.

Cancellation by the listing owner

We expect listing owners to reply to all bookings made through our platform within 24 hours. Please confirm the reservation directly with the customer who booked using the email address provided in our booking confirmation emails. If for any reason you are unable to accept the booking, please communicate immediately to the guest and us.

If the listing owner cancels their services, they must reimburse the customer in full within 14 days of receiving the cancellation notification. They must also contact Omtrips to request that we refund the customer’s deposit.

Unforeseeable Circumstances

In the event of any unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond normal control, which the consequences of could not have been avoided even when exercising all due care, the applicable Retreat may be subject to cancellation or rescheduling. Refunds or compensation payments cannot be made under such circumstances. These unforeseeable circumstances or events include, but are not limited to, a pandemic, domestic or international border closures, war, or threat of war, riot, civil unrest, industrial disputes or strikes, unavoidable technical problems with the villa, transport, or closure or congestion of airports, terrorist activity, natural disasters, industrial disasters, fire, theft, flooding, adverse weather conditions, or any similar events beyond reasonable anticipation.

Subscription Cancellations

For subscription cancellations, please email namaste@omtrips.co and we will cancel your subscription so that you won’t be charged on the next plan billing date. If you cancel during the first 14 days, we will refund your money back – no questions asked.

Listing Cancellations

For listing cancellations, if you cancel during the first 7 days, we will refund your money back – no questions asked. Please email namaste@omtrips.co and we will cancel your listing.
